TECHNOLOGY OF HULLS CONSTRUCTION OF THREE-LAYER POLYETHER FIBER GLASS PLASTIC

For manufacturing of operationally reliable, technologically efficient hulls of trawlers, mine-sweepers, high-speed vessels with dynamic means of support, sea yachts.
An improved effective technology of production of a three-layer monolithic sheathing whose carrying layers are made of a polyether fiber glass reinforced plastic, produced layer-by-layer molding or of a preproduced semi-finished products.
The polyether fiber glass-reinforced plastic is environmentally safe, ensures habitability conditions, is hard to inflame, with low speed of the flame propagation along the surface (calorimetryc coefficient,Kmax is 0.6; a flame propagation index along the surface, I, is 12.
Strength and elastic characteristics of the three-layer glass reinforced plastic with density of 0.91 g/cm^ meet the requirements to structural materials of ships and vessels sheathing.
Can operate in an atmosphere and in aqueous media at temperatures from ~^C to +60^C. Application of valuable types of wood and expensive production power consuming low magnetic steel and aluminium-magnesium alloys are excluded.
High efficient technology of hull structure with a low number of hull set beams providing a simplification of the construction technology while keeping a high level of strength and service reliability.
Increased transversal strength and impact strength as compared to the three-layer fiber glass plastic with central layer of PHV. High strength and stiffness are combined with low density.
