    BENTLEY MARINE has recently added two heavy duty custom built 4 Stroke Turbo & Supercharged Marine Diesel engines and gear boxes which are ideal for today's Bulk Carriers and other commercial and military ships demanding reliability and low operating costs.

  • Environmentally Friendly Design with controlled start of fuel injection and optimization of the firing point by turning of the camshaft.
        The innovative solution allows:
        - To adapt the engine to run at different fuel grades in order to provide for minimum fuel consumption;
        - To reduce the NOx content by delaying the injection;
        - To improve the engine operation on partial loads.

  •     The engines comply with MARPOL and all Classification Societies and are designed to run heavy fuel with viscosity up to 700cst @ 50 șC with outstanding performance.

        With two basic configurations - a four stroke turbo supercharged and intercooled in-line 6L32/40 with output power up to 2880 kW (3860HP) and a four stroke turbo supercharged and intercooled in-line 8L32/40 with output power up to 3840 kW (5150HP). All engines are custom built to order and delivered turn-key.

          After assembly, all engines are vigorously tested under the strict BENTLEY MARINE Total Quality Control Program  before delivery and installation by a team of certified factory technicians. A one year full warranty coverage is standard on all BENTLEY MARINE Medium Speed Diesel engines and gearboxes.

        BENTLEY MARINE understands well, how important it is for its clients to have peace of mind and total dependability on the engines. Therefore it offers a personalized around the clock maintenance and repair service 365 days a year and, because the engines are not mass produced, clients enjoy having onboard the same technician that originally installed or commissioned the engines, thus enabling quicker diagnosis and repairs.     HIGH-POWER PTO DRIVEN GENSETS

       NEW: All BENTLEY MARINE Medium Speed Diesel engines can be custom ordered with new ultra compact and lightweight variable speed computer-controlled Gensets of 65kW, 85kW and 350kW. The units are connected to the engine via the PTO (Power-Take-Off) gearbox. The innovative energy efficient system enables the ship to automatically shut-down the auxiliary Genset when the main propulsion engines are running, thus saving lots of fuel.
